All actors are important with their voices, personalities and possibilities; they are all responsible for what happens. The Theatre Festival at the Goetheanum from 10 to 14 July offers practical insights into how Rudolf Steiner’s Speech and Drama Course lives today.
For the centenary of biodynamic farming Elif Oskan and Selassie Atadika offer a culinary evening at the Goetheanum with biodynamic ingredients from its own garden. The organizer, experimental gastronomy initiative ‘Steinbeisser’, likes to combine Haute Cuisine with artistically designed objects such as cutlery.
Family life has largely emancipated itself from external precepts. The need for personal development and reliability cannot be met with new directives. With its annual Family Festival, the Goetheanum creates a space for practical questions around the theme of ‘family today’.
Family life has become very diverse. But circumstances and what children bring with them can challenge the whole family. The Goetheanum therefore asks “How can family be learned?” and supports the diverse forms of family – with a festival for all family members.
The charity concert on 28 June, which will open the Summer of Culture at the Goetheanum, will also constitute the Goetheanum‘s festive reopening after cultural venues were locked down by the Swiss government in March.
