Martina Maria Sam has completed the second part of her biography of Rudolf Steiner. Following on from ‘Childhood and Youth’ this volume focuses on the ‘Vienna Years’ with deeper experiences of contemporary culture and first public activities.
The new production of Goethe’s ‘Faust’, parts 1 and 2, by Andrea Pfaehler (director) and Eduardo Torres (eurythmy) will premiere at the Goetheanum from 10 to 12 July 2020. Two more performances will follow in July and one additional performance in October.
Matthias Rang and Johannes Wirz are now leading the Natural Science Section at the Goetheanum. The two scientists, who have doctorates in physics and biology, will continue to develop the Goetheanistic approach of the Research Institute. Their research areas include optics and free will as well as genetics and bees.
The new production of Goethe‘s ‘Faust 1 & 2’ at the Goetheanum is scheduled for 20 and 21 June (director: Andrea Pfaehler). Both the performance tradition and the fact that all productions combine acting with eurythmy are unique in the world.
Eurythmy is lived on stage as the production of spoken language, musical and dramatic events as well as in an educational, therapeutic and social context. What is special: There is no age limit for eurythmy to show a joy for life.
The Kunstmuseum Basel will present its workshop series ‘Living Archive’ at the Goetheanum on 15th June. Participation is free of charge, but advance registration requested.
