Richard Wagner‘s music drama ‘Parsifal’ will come to the Goetheanum Stage at Easter 2023 as a coproduction of Pamy Mediaproductions and the Goetheanum. The venture will bring opera and eurythmy together.
The new production of Goethe’s ‘Faust’, parts 1 and 2, by Andrea Pfaehler (director) and Eduardo Torres (eurythmy) will premiere at the Goetheanum from 10 to 12 July 2020. Two more performances will follow in July and one additional performance in October.
The new production of Goethe‘s ‘Faust 1 & 2’ at the Goetheanum is scheduled for 20 and 21 June (director: Andrea Pfaehler). Both the performance tradition and the fact that all productions combine acting with eurythmy are unique in the world.
On December 28th, 2019 the Goetheanum eurythmy ensemble will perform its new program ‘Leuchtfäden’ (Rays of Light). It‘s about being on the move and the spaces in between. On the occasion of Ludwig van Beethoven‘s 250th birthday two movements from his string quartet Opus 132 will be performed.
Eurythmy is lived on stage as the production of spoken language, musical and dramatic events as well as in an educational, therapeutic and social context. What is special: There is no age limit for eurythmy to show a joy for life.
The Kunstmuseum Basel will present its workshop series ‘Living Archive’ at the Goetheanum on 15th June. Participation is free of charge, but advance registration requested.
